Browser access does not always mean no installation
The receiving device may still need a native or small support app and explicit permissions.
07 // SECURITY
Before you connect
END SESSION = END TEMPORARY ACCESS- Only begin a remote session you requested.
- Verify you are communicating with Tyler before allowing access.
- Never post session codes publicly or send passwords through this page.
- Close private documents before starting; you may end the session at any time.
- Temporary support access should end when the provider session ends.
- Do not grant permanent unattended access unless intentionally configuring your own trusted device.
Provider behavior and permissions vary. Review every prompt before approving it.
08 // COMPATIBILITY & LINUX NOTES
Linux: Wayland, X11/Xorg, distribution, and desktop-environment rules can change screen capture or control. Follow the provider's current instructions; do not disable security controls.
Apple mobile: FaceTime remote control requires supported Apple software, device eligibility, and availability in your region. Third-party iPhone/iPad sessions are presented as viewing or guided support unless the provider explicitly confirms control.
Android: Control varies by manufacturer, Android version, permissions, and sometimes a manufacturer add-on.
Commercial use: RTC support must use provider licensing appropriate for professional use; TeamViewer's personal/free terms are not presented as covering commercial support.
